June 1, 2024 | James Madison said, “If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have invited war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress.
Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Mr. Netanyahu for war crimes charges that include “willful killing,” “starvation of civilians as a method of warfare” and “willfully causing great suffering.”
DC politicians and the Biden administration have funded and supplied Netanyahu with a blank check and weapons for the slaughter of people in Gaza making them complicit in war crimes.
Instead of more weapons for killing, diplomatic efforts are needed to bring peace and stability to the region and ensure the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners.

February 27, 2024 | Image source | “Free Palestine” were the final words of active-duty USAF Senior Airman Aaron Bushnell, who lit himself on fire in front of the Washington, D.C. Israeli embassy in protest of the genocide in Gaza that is being funded by the U.S. Congress. According to reporting on the incident, Bushnell, stated that he could “no longer be complicit in genocide.”
Question: What will it take to start bringing an end to genocide in Gaza?
Answer: Congress stops the funding.
FACT: “Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II.”
According to the Congressional Research Report of March 2023: “In 2016, the U.S. and Israeli governments signed their third 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on military aid, covering FY2019 to FY2028. Under the terms of the MOU, the United States pledged to provide—subject to congressional appropriation—$38 billion in military aid ($33 billion in Foreign Military Financing (FMF) grants plus $5 billion in missile defense appropriations) to Israel.”
Americans do not support war. Violence is the enemy, not a solution.
What’s needed is a cease fire and immediate diplomatic negotiations to bring an end to the conflicts. People of faith and conscience everywhere oppose war and remain steadfast to creating lasting peace among all nations.
